UNO. JeJamuran

I know, it's been ages since my last post. As you know, 10 minutes IRL = 1 online year.

BTW, I'd like to share what I did today. I won't talk so much this time due to lack of energy.

UNO.
This afternoon I was a little bored after preparing my presentation for next week since yesterday. I went to mom's room and found my nieces playing with UNO blocks. I wasn't interested at first but then after a few mins holding the blocks I came up with an interesting idea! Hahaha.

I moved some blocks onto the floor and stacked them. See the photos below.

After several attempts I succeeded to stack 8 blocks!

After several more attempts, 9!

After even more and more several attemtps, freaking 11! Ahahah. Gosh I was too bored.

JeJamuran.
Dad then came up with a decision to take us out around the town side. We left with no plans.

We went to see some rice fields by the roads in the country side. It was definitely nice. Although the kids fell asleep in the back seat.

Mom then suddenly craved mushroom after we passed by a town-wide famous restaurant specializing in mushroom dishes. The place is called JeJamuran.

See the photos for evidence that we were there. I know Sean would argue 'why no photos of the dishes at all?'. Ahahaha, I was too hungry to take my phone out of the pocket as soon as the dishes arrived at our table.

Now I need to go back to preparing for my presentation. I'm going to talk about an issue about a possibility of copyright infringement done by the national television. YouTube will be greatly involved.

Good night!

Post Scriptum
Recently I fell in love with someone. It started nice. We happen to have a lot of things in common. We are from the same city, went to the same college at different times, used to live in the same neighborhood in town, understand the same foreign languages, and are interested in writing. We even have mutual friends who are going to get married this July. We were surprised as we didn't know each other before. It was just funny to find out those similarities. Unfortunately, "let's just be friends" was said in the text message as a reply to mine. It got me down. Bummer, huh. Well, wish me luck, guys. That might be what I need right now.

  1. Looks interesting, definitely lots of fungi. Are the food they serve there nice? And do they only serve fungi-related food?

    HOw's your study so far?

    1. I don't know what that type of mushroom is called actually. And, it might be less yellow-y once cooked. Hehe

  6. Rad, this was a very interesting post. I've never heard of a restaurant that specializes in mushrooms like that and that has so many varieties growing there. I like mushrooms on pizza and cooked in dishes here, but we usually have only a couple of varieties available for us to buy.

Looks like you were having some fun with the Uno blocks. I've only heard of Uno as a card game too--not blocks.

As for the one you fell in love with but who wants to just be friends, I'm sorry to hear that. I know that can be very disappointing and upsetting. My son went through the same thing. He had a girlfriend that he was quite close to, but then she broke things off with him. He felt sad and hurt at first, but things got better with time. I'm sorry things didn't work out for you as you had hoped. Good luck to you in the future. Perhaps you will meet another who will be the one meant to be with you.

    1. OMG thank you so much, Daisy, for the words and wish. It wasn't my first time to be 'rejected'. I was quite sure this person was the right one for me for the so many things we both have in common. I do hope I can get luckier next time.

Thank you, again, for the wish :)

  7. UNO stacks?? hmm never have I came across that before, so it has all the UNO rules like draw four and reverse?? haha..

    1. Oh no. The blocks are not supposed to be stacked that way :p I 'invented' the game. But the blocks do have that draw and reverse painted on two sides of them.

  8. hmmm, maybe that someone just meant "let's just be friend FOR NOW".. perhaps you need to know each other deeper to go on to the next level.. good luck!! :)

  14. I have a set of UNO blocks like that too but have not played with it for sometime now. I also have a set of UNO playing cards, also in cold storage. That's a creative way of playing.

Mushrooms, yum, but somehow seeing them in their natural habitat is not as appetising as to see them on my plate. LOL
