The bed that I slept in that night was actually not very old yet. We bought it a few months ago. And, you know what's up with a new bed. It was still pretty hard and not 'mature' yet. If it was a fruit, it wasn't ripe yet. I couldn't sleep at all that night. I knew I was very tired -more of physically, even. Plus my dad tends to sleep with the TV on and snores too.
In the morning I complained to my mom and was not in the best mood ever. I didn't talk to anybody else that morning. I went to take my room back as soon as I knew it was no longer occupied. I tried to sleep in my room in my own ripe bed. Still I couldn't. But it was more because I had an appointment with my personal trainer that early morning and I had a class at 10AM after the gym. So, I had no time to go back to sleep in the morning. I sent a text to my trainer about my sleepless night and that I felt a little achy all over my body because of the hard bed. Lucky enough, he was willing to give me a back massage before we started exercising in the gym. He is a really nice young man. I really appreciated the massage. It was quite a bit of a relief too. I felt a bit better during the gym sessions.
Long story short, I went back home and got sick. I got fever. It continued for a few days. Then I got slight cold. Last week I had a runny nose. I coughed. And, even until today I still have a runny nose. A little left over. I'm feeling much better than I was two weeks ago, however -which I'm very happy about.
Another thing that added to the craziness set of the past two weeks was that there was so much school assignment. Papers and one nerve wrecking presentation. It was driving me nervous because it's one of the classes that I dislike so much this semester. I feel very irrelevant to the subject. I don't even know why we were obliged to take the subject this semester. Anyway, the presentation was only two days ago (Friday). I was sick before and during. Also there were papers from other classes. There was such little time and I was not feeling well to start with so you can imagine how crazy it was for me. However, I am very glad that I had a very helpful team mate for the presentation. I told him I needed his help more than he needed mine. I sent him a Thank You text on the same day after the presentation.
So, last weekend, I had a reason and right to let go off the stress a little bit. I decided to go out with different friends on different nights. The highlight of the moments was last night. Oh, God, I don't know how to tell you but it was a half reunion. So, there were some friends that I hadn't met for years, I guess! We used to go to the same campus and we graduated and stuff. So, we had so much to talk about. We laughed 'till the mouth hurt. It was such a fun, lovely night that I deserved after the long horrible two weeks. Here are a couple of photos from the night:

BTW, papers are still there. I just got done with one. I will do another one tomorrow due Wednesday. I hope I'll feel much better tomorrow and on. I hope you've been doing well. I couldn't admit more that I am such, such a bad friend to you. I will try to visit you back after dinner tonight as my way of appreciating your visits to my last posts. Thank you!
Hi Rad! I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Sometimes those colds just seem to hang on forever. Good luck getting your other paper done. I'm glad you got to go out with your friends. Sounds like you needed the break and you had a really great time. :)
