Let me talk a bit about how my yesterday went. In the night before I agreed to meet a friend in the next morning for a talk. I thought it'd be just a quick meeting as we wouldn't have had so much to catch up anyway. But we ended up spending six hours watching one of our favorite shows from the childhood. We weren't friends until the past two weeks I guess, or less. So, we found out we liked the same TV series when we were little. We then watched the series. We had to skip a lot of episodes from the first series alone because I disagreed to want to spend any longer time. I got too tired and, more importantly, I still had articles to write waiting at home as part of my holiday job. It was a fun way of spending the day though. Quite unexpected. Quite nostalgic too.
I'm actually not sure how I'm going to post this posting as I'm on my iPad. The only thing that becomes my concern right now regarding posting this is that the actual posting will look messy if I post it right from the iPad. I guess it won't be a big deal, actually.
(not) Speaking of dinner, I had one of my favorite foods at one of my favorite eateries in town. The eatery is called Phuket. You must know by the name what they serve there. They are too affordable too. Although they have, I guess, two branches in town, the foods actually are not the same that are offered at the two places. So, my favorite menu does not exist at one branch. Luckily my favorite menu exists at a branch that is located much closer to where I live so I can just take out and ride my bike and quickly get my favorite menu there. Quite convenient. For your curiosity, I only spent approximately US$3 for a big plate of crispy fried 'kwetiau' (Indonesian spelling) or what you would say in Malaysia and Singapore 'kway teow', a plate of reasonably good portion of rice for one person, and a glass of iced mocha coffee sort of drink. I was and have always been satisfied by how they serve that favorite dish of mine.
I think. Hehe.
(the photo was added later in the morning from my laptop)
Before I end this I wanna say that I think I'm going to dye my hair dark brown. The only reason (well probably not the only) is because my hair is getting longer and I don't really like that it looks just black and that it has no shades of color. So, I'm hoping that if I go dark brown the dyed hair on the most outer side will look lighter than the hair underneath it -which then will create shades. Lol. I hope my theory is right. Although my dad hates me every time I dye my hair so keep it quiet. :p
Alright, I'm ready to fall asleep, I feel.
Good night!
Enjoy your dream(s)!

You are just a young man growing up like a bud blooming into flowers soon. So you often got restless, unsure and confused until you lost for words to blog. Take it easy, life is like that. Just live naturally and meaningfully each day. Why don't you spend time doing charity sometimes? You will feel the satisfactions. Have a good day Rad Sujanto.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very wise thing to say. Thank you! :D
DeleteOoh, charity always feels good as long as I know to whom the aid goes and what it means to them.
Isn't that fun when something unexpected turns out so well - like a meeting a friend and then spending hours hanging out.
ReplyDeleteYea, it was fun! Although it was quite unproductive, yesterday was. But I finished my work in time! So, no regrets! :D
DeleteWatching the show with your friend sounds like it was fun, like a nice surprise in your day. I don't know what that kind of food is that you talked about that is your favorite, but sounds like you got a good deal for something you like so well. I know what rice is, of course, but I don't know what 'kwetiau' is. Have a good week! :-)
ReplyDeleteOooh. I just updated the posting by adding a photo of the dish that I meant to it. You posted your comment a couple of minutes just before I included the photo. I'd like you to see the dish :) It tastes so good and is served just not too hot so it's perfect to be had in a rather cold evening with steamy rice. Yum! :p
DeleteOh cool! That does look really good. I bet that warms you right up. Looks like a great meal. Thanks for posting the picture. :-)
ReplyDeleteIf I could send it to you, I would! You might not be used to the taste of it but it tastes so good :p
DeleteI don't remember when is the last time i dye my hair, probably when I was in school.
ReplyDeleteMy first time was when I was at 9th grade.
Deletea question out of curiosity: which TV series were you talking about? heheh :D
