It's midnight and I just got home from seeing a good friend. I wasn't actually feeling well earlier today. Well, I have not been feeling well the past several days, really since the exam started last week. Never ending papers. Somehow after the hot shower just now I feel (hopefully) better. I have been taking multivitamins so I hope they're doing their job.
Apart from school stuff I've... ummm... not been that busy really. I mean school has been keeping me very busy a lot of times during the weekdays, but on the weekends I tend to not do anything much but watch TV and just get really hungry at midnight after watching TLC showing street foods in China or Korea with the host(s) eating whatever they want to eat. I'm glad I had full dinner so this talk won't get me hungry this time. Normally it would, especially if I hadn't had dinner yet. Hehe.
A few days ago my niece and her two besties from her school shot a short video of a dance cover to a Japanese song by AKB48 entitled Heavy Rotation. There is this nationwide dance cover competition held by one of my favorite drinks' company, Pocari Sweat (Otsuka is the name of the company, actually). So, I helped them shoot the video and now it is online and viewable from the official YouTube channel of Pocari Sweat. Check out the video right down below. BTW, I'm no video editor whatsoever. I realized how tacky this video that you're (probably) about to watch is. Just letting you know before any negative thoughts on the video from you. Hehehe. These girls did it for fun as they just graduated from their primary school last week. So, it was some sort of like private celebration for their friendship.
By the way, while still on videos, yesterday was the 158th day since my first vlog video made on January 20 earlier this year. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, on January 20 this year I committed to a project of making a video blog (vlog) everyday until the next one year. The first video was made on that date and yesterday was the 158th day/video. Here's the vid:
Hmmm... now what else?
Oh, holiday is coming up very soon. In fact, it's coming in less than a week. We'll have two full months of holiday. It's like the summer holiday for most people who live in Europe or North America, I believe. Only for us down here, everyday is summer or wet. Why am I even talking about weathers right now?
So, yes, the long holiday is coming very soon. I hope I will be able to work and earn money during the two months. I really don't hope to get bored. Half of the time will be a fasting month of Ramadhan actually. That will be pretty challenging and sort of exciting. I hope.
I actually have been thinking of having a pet, but... I talked with a pet buddy of mine about the idea -wait up, my definition of pet buddy is a good friend with whom I most of the time talk about pets. Yes, such friends exist. So, every time I mentioned that idea of me thinking of getting a pet to keep me busy during the long holiday he would tell me off. Hahaha. He said "you'll only kill it in the end. So, don't!". He might be right. I was even only thinking of getting a hamster or a fish, but he's right; if I'm only going to get too busy with something else, I shouldn't keep any animal as a pet.
Hmmm strange. I feel like there's something else that I should be talking about right now but I can't figure out what it is. I might return and edit this post in the morning once I figure out.
I'll try to have a good sleep. It's getting close to 1AM and I should be resting. Thanks for taking your time to read... and I just said that to myself as I'm probably the only one reading this. Hahaha. I hope not. Anyway, I did miss blogging! So it feels good to be back after a good long time.
Have a good night!

Young man, you have confessed that you are quite free and not too busy on weekends. Time to Salam with all bloggers before we forget you.... Oh man, you need a girlfriend as pet!! She can talk and cheer you up. Ha ha ha....
ReplyDeleteHahaha thank you for the hint! I am not starting to write back to most of you :)
DeleteI can't believe you came back after many months since I said a few things in your blog, T-Man! ;))
I remember those days when I had to study for my exam (it was dreadful) , I couldn't wait to graduate and start working. Nowadays, I wish I'm still student becoz life is sweet during the younger days.
ReplyDeleteYo! Smitten! I miss my college life in US. Working life sucks!!
DeleteI feel you, you two! I worked too for a few years and thought to myself how I missed going to school, sitting in the class, chattering with friends while the teacher tries to explain us something (haha bad student aren't I?), and actually studying. But now I can't wait to work!
DeleteHi Rad! Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling very well. I hope the vitamins will help. School is important. I can understand it taking up a lot of your time. Good luck to your niece and her friends in the competition. My computer isn't letting me play the videos right now. :/ I hope you have a nice holiday and you can earn the money you hope to make. My son has just this past week started a summer job here working in a factory that makes car seat parts. Hope you have a good day or night, whatever it is there. :-)
ReplyDeleteInteresting part time job your son has there, Daisy! I'm going to try harder to find a part time job that's relevant to what I'm studying. And, thanks for the wishes! :D
DeleteThe Radster is back! Love your new layout. Happy holidays (soon). :-)
ReplyDeleteAhaha Radster sounds like a pretty cool name to me!
