It's virus

Thanks, guys, for all the kind comments in my previous post. Right after this I promise I will get back to your blogs.

Now I think I should make it a little clearer about what has happened to me.

The health problem I have just found out was caused by virus. I got it from I-don't-know-who and only God knows who. That doesn't matter. I need to move on.

I have actually noticed the problem since over a year ago, but I have been ignoring it because I was always certain it was minor. Two days ago, a very, very kind and caring friend of mine noticed it for the first time and told me to see a specialist.

So, I did. And, I found out what the problem really was from the medical examination I had.

They told me it was some virus whose type and name I can't say here. It's, very-unfortunately, permanent. However, through a proper treatment it can be put into a dormant state.

My point is, why I talk about this again, it is not because I have not drunk not enough water, I have not been in good control of what I eat and drink, or I have not taken care of myself well enough on daily basis. I'm not a good drinker, don't smoke, and don't use illegal drugs.

I thought I've been healthy with the generally healthy lifestyle I've been living. That's why I never came to think that I would have ever had such virus in me.

It used to be something that I found on other people by reading news or articles on the internet. It used to be something that, I was quite certain, would never happen to me. I was really shocked.

If the friend didn't notice the problem, I would have never had it medically checked.

So, learn from me. I used to think I've always been healthy apart from getting cold, flu, etc.

The doctor said my case was not too late yet to be treated. I'm glad for that fact. They told me there were cases where a surgery needed to be done. I just need to stay fit most of the time so that the virus will not wake up from the dormant state.

As I said yesterday, I need to return to the doctor every week for the treatment. I hope a surgery will not be necessary.

It is certainly a big, big lesson for me.

And, I guess, some of you may have guessed what it is. Keep it for yourself.

I broke one of my biggest resolutions this year that I made just last month that I would be a happier person and would not be let down easily by anything by taking the most positive sides of it. I couldn't help it yesterday and even worse this morning.

But, a very close friend of mine told me that I still have 10 more months until the end of the year to be a happier person. I'm certainly excited to get back on the track of this year's resolution of mine.

I wanna sleep good tonight after doing some work and studying and wake up with a better mood tomorrow. I have so many school assignments to do so I will not work until Sunday to start finishing all the assignments.

You take care, too! Thanks for the kind comments again!

Now I will rape your blog! Hehehehe :p :p

I know, right, I really wish I was joking about all of this! I wish it was April Fool's day today! Hehehe.

  1. its so human to always take our health for granted despite the signs. But whatever it is, I am glad you did your test and have started medication with vitamins etc.

Whatever it is...we must always live with our heads up and stay happy!

  2. ohhhh ... i have a good friend who has the same health problem as yours (based on your description, i believe it's the same). sorry to hear it. i can assure you that he's still able to lead a regular & healthy life for more than 99 percent of the time. yeah, it's mostly dormant most of the time, and the symptoms surface maybe once every two or three years or so, but he can deal with it. and i guess there are millions of people who also have to live with it. i hope you feel better soon, both physically and emotionally, yeah.

    1. Oh, comforting to hear that about your friend, Sean. Yes, it's curable. I'm glad that it is. But, who would have known I would get such virus when I have been pretty good maintaining my lifestyle.

And, thanks, Sean, for the wish. I hope to feel better both physically and emotionally. :) You're a good friend.

  5. What virus is that? Anyway, health is always No.1 on my priority. Without good health, everything else is meaningless, don't you agree? Take care!

    1. Yes, I was glad the doctor said it was treatable. I have noticed recovery, too, actually.

I will not let the problem get the best of me.

Thanks for the encouragement, Daisy! :D

    1. @Bananaz - unfortunately anti-viruses can't cure everything. With they could!

With treatment the virus can go dormant for sure and as someone said above things can flare up periodically, maybe one episode every couple of years so it helps to know where to get any creams or medicines that you need.

It's common enough to not feel that you're that different to anyone else. Really. I think about 1 in 20 people carry the virus, .

Remember message or call me if you want to talk in more details. Please reply to my messages a bit more ;)
