Obviously, I didn't just stand there bored. While my mom was picking up some plates and bowls, I went around and noticed these shelves full of different types and sizes of jars. OK, so my plan last week was to make a terrarium so I was sent to this store!
So, I found a perfect jar which didn't cost expensive for my terrarium which I'm going to prepare today. It's gonna be fun! I'm also going to involve the kids so they will know how to make one.
So, we were ready to pay at the register and while my mom was doing that I noticed these three tall shelves full of figures. They were basically ornaments that you would place on your book shelf or on the fireplace. I don't know what they're exactly called but you'll see what I mean through the photos below.
I don't think I will get any of the figures as much as I found them interesting. I just think they're too old-fashioned for me, and having them in my room would be pretty creepy.
BTW, it has been raining like every afternoon for the past two weeks or so. I noticed this little frog yesterday that seemed to want to escape the rain. I don't get it, though. I thought frogs loved rain and to get wet? It was clear that this frog was trying to find a higher surface... even though it wasn't flooding at all. Being preventive? Maybe.
That's pretty much what I wanted to share with y'all today.
Have a nice day!
I'm gonna finish work quickly and will start preparing my terrarium before it gets dark or rains or I won't be able to get the moss and small plants out there around in the neighborhood.
Oh, Happy Thanksgiving!
wow, and there are just really too many things to see right?? i mean for such a small store.. hahaha, LOL at that frog, overestimated its ability to jump??
ReplyDeleteHehe... I know frogs are not bad jumpers but I guess the particular frog I mentioned in the post probably thought I was looking for lunch! "__"
ReplyDeleteShow us some pics of your terrarium when you're done with it, would you? I suddenly feel curious about making a terrarium after seeing a couple in a friend's blog. I hear they can be low-maintenance; true?
ReplyDeleteLOL. Guess what, I'm just done with it! I'll go through the photos and blog about it tonight so you can see. I think it looks pretty pretty!
