Quick thoughts

This is just going to be a kind of reminder to myself. So, apart from a(nother) project that my niece has to do with me, I actually have a couple of projects of my own (not related to work or earning money). It's projects for fun.

First project is to re-design the layout of my website. For the past several weeks, I've been looking for some good inspirations on the internet by visiting many different websites or blogs. I have a few-by a few I mean two really- websites that I really like as far as the layout design goes. I have one of the websites open right now, but I don't think I should share it with you as I don't wanna spoil the surprise -if it's going to ever be one once done and published. And, no, it's not that I'm going to copy the website designs from the two websites and combine them. I will take some of the design ideas. I might also send them an email to let them know that they have inspired me. Don't get me wrong, though! The reason for the website layout change idea is not because I dislike the layout that I have had on right now for the past almost-one year.

Second project is to continue writing my novel. This is actually more like a one year or two long sort of project! I've only written like 5 or 6 pages so far. Just a little hint: the story's about two adults living with an adopted young girl taking place in the year of 1800s; they are unusual family that is fun to know more about. What I want from my readers is them being surprised by how these people in the family do things and how normal it is for them.

As much as I feel excited to want to continue writing the story, my brain gets pretty tired already after work. Well, what I do every day is writing many articles whose ideas are not from anywhere but my own mind. I just get tired in the evening and cannot really get the right mood to continue my novel. Writing a blog like this one is nothing compared to writing a novel because I don't always need to make up ideas for my blog posts while when writing my novel it requires new imaginative ideas.

So... I hope I can take some time off work some time next week to start sketching for my new website layout design. Wish I could do it this weekend but I'm gonna be out of town.
