My everything has been up and down lately. What I'm going to share today is one of the ups I had recently. About a week ago or so I went to Gunungkidul/Wonosari to check out a beach there. It was Siung beach. It took us, I think, 2 hours or so from the town.
There was so much fun that we had at the beach that I don't think I'm awake enough or quite too lazy to spill everything all out right here right now. I'm gonna try to share some of the highlights.
The beach, which will be revealed in seconds after you read all the textual content in this post through uploaded photos, was quite amazing. Not only that it offered white sand but also shallow water floored with non hurting corals that were safe enough to carefully step on. The corals were rather greeny looking because of the moss and seaweed. What's very exciting was that we managed to spot and actually have our hands on a starfish. If you know of Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants TV series, well the starfish we found wasn't nothing like Patrick. It wasn't even pink colored but rather dark colored.
By the way, another highlight about the trip was that some of us decided to climb up to a little cliff that allowed us to sit peacefully despite of the strong wind on the top of the cliff. We had to quite carefully make our steps on the top. The climbing wasn't really a problem as long as you make sure you are not wearing any footwear that is slippery.
On the top of the cliff we climbed we had the best view that was worth the whole journey to the beach and climbing, we saw the sun setting down on the horizon. It was very beautiful. And if you look under from the cliff top, you will see big greeny waves strongly hit the rocks. Everything was amazing when we spent our chilaxing time on the cliff top, until we made our way back to the town. Too tired and sticky and sleepy.
Here are some photos that we took before I make an excuse to bed.

Looks like you had an amazing time. Some postcard quality pictures. I really want to visit that beach, you're the second person to post pictures from there in the last week.
