You can watch this short video as I recorded when the wind was pretty strong earlier today.
My everyday vlog: YouTube.com/RadVlogsEveryday
I just googled, and apparently the area between the Celebes Sea and Afafura Sea is where the strong winds are found. That is according to Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) based here in Indonesia.
So, I will try to pay much more attention when driving outside, especially if there are big tall trees by the road.
I hope the weather will get more stable soon! Some say it will end on the 26th this month, so let's see how it goes tomorrow.
Cheers!

Strong wind can be scary. Don't get swept away by the wind! xD
ReplyDeleteAhaha I'm not that light, Lina!! ;))
ReplyDeletegosh that's crazy wind huh??!! if you stand there sure will get swept away like Lina has said, haha.. guess I may be safe cis I'm much fatter!! haha.. drive carefully and safety first :)
ReplyDeleteAhahaha no! Oh, that means I need to be fat, too!!
ReplyDeleteYou're not fat lah, SK! ;)) You just have some extra flesh! like what your other friend said to you ;p ;p
oooo, interestingly we had crazy winds in KL today too! and worse still, we had crazy RAIN to accompany the winds (in the evening). trees were falling down in a few neighborhoods, and some friends had their car windscreens smashed by flying debris near their homes (though nobody i knew was injured). is the end of the world coming?! say it ain't so, rad!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteYour last sentence kinda scared the cr*p out of me, Sean! Nobody knows when the end is.
ReplyDeleteOooh, btw, we also have had trees and billboards that collapsed caused by the winds. Actually, we had several events that dealt with such strong winds in the past few years here. We once had a small twister years ago which destroyed an old movie theater
crazy strong winds in kl today. i returned home to see my housing area with tree branches and electricity cables on the road. Some streets were dark....it was like a mini tornado just hit us.
ReplyDeleteOh! That is creepy! Please stay alert when driving near trees. Stop in a big building like a mall if the wind gets too strong on the way on the road, if necessary.
ReplyDeleteWell, I hope you are staying safe and watching out for trees being blown down and such. I watched your other video too. Sorry your terrarium plants didn't make it. I think you should try it again maybe with some different kinds of plants.
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting that homework done. Better get busy on it! haha! That's what I tell my son when he has homework too. :-D
Thanks, Daisy! I do plan on replacing the dead plants with a proper plant. It won't be a terrarium, though... well, not until I figure out the right small plants that can live in this new room which is more exposed to the sun light.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wish of luck! I did go to the class and even though I hadn't done the whole homework the teacher just went along with the fact. Hehehe.
Rad: oops, sorry i scared you! wasn't intentional! heheh.
ReplyDeletei hope the world only ends after we're already gone. or then again, actually i don't really mind if it ends during our lifetime, as long as it happens painlessly and it's not scary or full of disastrous horror-movie scenarios :P
That is a long list of requirements!!! Ahaha
ReplyDeleteThat is actually an interesting topic to talk about.
Talking about weather change - Last year some of my house roof flew off becoz of the strong wind. Scary...
ReplyDeleteOMG that is scary! I hope you weren't home at that time! I'd freak out and just hide downstairs! And, make a video and some photos too ;p ;p hehehe
ReplyDeleteI love a good wind - but only if I'm feeling safe inside a very sturdy building.
ReplyDeleteAhaha OBVIOUSLY! ;))
