New hat for Prambanan

So, last Saturday (like, just yesterday actually!) was spent by us visiting Prambanan temple. It had been a long while since our last trip to the temple. I don't really have much to say right now because everything about the temple is available on this Wikipedia page which I'm pretty sure only a few of you will actually click ;))

Anyway... we went there to meet some relatives who were on a different vehicle and from a different direction. Our car arrived first so we had to wait. Mom spotted this market within the area of the temple right after we passed the main gate where we paid for the parking. So, mom and I decided to check out the market. I also thought I should wear a hat because it was around midday even though the sky was rather cloudy -which was good.

Obviously, just like most markets in touristic places, this particular one mostly had souvenirs that were related to the temple. I wasn't interested in them but a hat. A cool looking one. I thought I wanted to try to look more like a tourist. Ahaha.

So, I got the hat. Love it!

We went back to the car to wait a little bit longer. And, the vehicle carrying our relatives arrived. We chatted a bit and stuff, and headed to the ticketing post.

Ummm... what else should I say? I mean, obviously we walked to the temple and stuff.

Oh, we were welcome by a small fountain which wasn't really that interesting to talk about actually... errr.

Well, the environment was clean and well maintained, I noticed. And, ummm... here are some photos of me! the temple.

Say peeeeace!

Ahem. The temple architect. Except not.

And, of course, I didn't forget to make our jumps! Weeeeeee

She had fun, too!

I was running. Kind of. Actually, I was pose-running.

That says Candi Brahma. Candi means temple in Indonesian language. And, there are numerous candi in the temple area.

On our way back to the Exit, we walked by a big group of deer surrounded by fences. There was this man selling vegetable (kangkung) to feed the animal. I have the photos in my brother's camera which I forgot to transfer and now he's back in the other town already! D'uh! LOL. I'll update this blog post with the missing photos some time next week.

Nothing else was interesting to share here after the deer.

We then had lunch at Candi Sari restaurant not far from the temple area. I had fried chicken. Yuuuuuuummmm!!! We brought some home! Even yummmmmmmmm-errrrrr! ;))

Okay. Basically, it was not a bad day at all.

Hope you had a good day or night and will have another one!

Night night!

i actually don't own a hat at all. i have an old baseball cap (kinda cliched), but i haven't used it for years. guess i'm not really walking outdoors much. but you manage to pull off the 'hat look' very well =)
