Healthy stuff

So, I just got back from shoppen! (shopping). It wasn't really planned but when I was done with work earlier today I felt like I needed to go out a bit so I went for shopping. I went to Carrefour and Superindo. This is going to be a rather pointless blog post. LOL

First of all, I'd like to let you know that I have a favorite app for iPhone that I always use every time I wanna go shopping. It's called ShopListFree. The app is very, very useful and easy to use. I recommend you install and use the app if you have an iPhone. I'm not sure if the app is also available for other brands of smart phones.

What I got and didn't get from the stores

First thing that I got is TimTam! Everybody should like TimTam! I actually just got hooked up to the cheese flavor.

It actually says 'special edition' which, I think, will be out of production some time soon! That scares me because I really like the cheese one. I also got a choco vanilla one

Next. I was looking for my favorite muesli but I couldn't find any in Carrefour. Instead, still in the cereal section, I saw this cereal sort of product. I honestly never saw it before. It's called KukiZereal (Cookie Cereal) produced by Vitagen. The reason why I wanted to try it is because it says Tiramisu flavor! I think, it's like cereal type of biscuit/cookie, so, I think, I can have it without milk?? ...I don't know, really, but I will find out when I actually try it -which is I'm looking forward to! (EDIT: I just tasted it, and it's damn good! Not kidding! Will get three or four of them next time I hit Carrefour)

There are other flavors, too: chocolate and strawberry. But, I thought Tiramisu had a more unique and more interesting taste. The ingredients listed on the package are wheat flour, sugar, full cream milk, soya lecithine, cocoa powder, vegetable oil, vitamin A, C, B12 and calcium. Sounds pretty healthy to me! :D

The next thing I got is teas! I'm in the sudden mood of teas. I learned that drinking tea in the morning can help wake you up with a better mood. Of course, it's not just any tea because there are ingredients in the tea that work to wake you up like caffeine. Since I don't drink coffee, tea is a good option for me. Tea is good for lots of reasons. It has fluoride good for your teeth. Tea, especially white and green, has a ton of anti-oxidant which is really, really good for your, basically, everything for your body. It can also prevent a lot of cancers, and helps with the immune system. However, tea can dehydrate you, so don't count your tea as one of your eight cups of water of the day. You still need to drink lots of water.

BTW, I bought several different teas from different brands.

Tong Tji. It's a rather big bag of tea. I don't think it comes with any flavor. I got this one because it says SUPER. Hahaha. Superman has to drink super tea!

Sari Wangi Gold Selection. I'm very curious with the orange flavor! It actually says that it contains black tea, orange, orange flavor, and derived soya beans. Whatever that’s gonna taste like!!

Goalpara. I bought green tea not because I like the taste of it. But, I think, sometimes, I kinda need that boost

Sometimes, I have bad mornings when I just don't feel like working at all! I don't drink Coke nor coffee, so I hope drinking tea can help me wake up and feel better on mornings. And also, it's always good to have some warm or hot liquid at night before you head to bed to help you feel relaxed. But, do remember, when it comes to drinking tea before bed, drink one that doesn't have caffeine in it. However, caffeine is a mild stimulant which is also good to have to help prevent your blood vessels from hardening, so drink tea for the caffeine, too! :D BTW, I'm gonna try to drink my tea without sugar. I might put a bit of sugar in my tea if I need a boost of sweetness.

Before heading home, I stopped by Superindo to get my favorite muesli that only they have. It actually doesn't have any brand printed on the package. I reckon they do their own packaging so that they can lower down the price. I got a one kilogram one.

I always have my muesli as breakfast with peanut butter that comes with some rough nuts in it, and a table spoon of honey!

While I was still at the cereal section, I noticed this new product which was again packaged in the same way as the muesli. So, again, they do it in order to sell it at a lower price... which is awesome!

It's just cornflakes. The box is super big (750gram)! I couldn't believe how big it was yet how cheap it was! It only took me two seconds to think of putting it in my hand off the shelf

And, lastly, I got some other basic stuff like milk and shampoo. As you can see in the shopping list above, headphones and hair gel are not checked. I didn't really go to the right place to look for headphones, and I couldn't get the hair gel that I was looking for. So, yea.

A few weeks ago, I got a rather big box sent to my house for me. It was from my bank.

It says on the box something like "thanks for using your Danamon credit card". So, I thought it was a thank you present. Cool!

Basically, inside the box, there are these small air-tight containers from Lock&Lock. Now I finally know what to use them for!

So... I'm going to be using them to keep my teas. It is important to keep the tea leaves in air-tight containers so that the flavors or scents last much longer. I guess they go bad if they're exposed to the air for too long. It's also good to keep the teas in these containers so that I won't get them mixed.

"Raise your glasses to tea tonight and drink a glass!"

Cheers!
